MEDPL 15000 is a liberal arts course that introduces students to the critical theories, analytical tools and practical fundamentals of visual communication, interface design, user experience, digital graphics and illustration, web design, networks, digital photography and new media art in a lecture/lab format. It is a foundations course in 2D and interactive design grounded in critical thinking about digital tools and analytical approaches for examining visual culture.
